A SIMPLE START

Make room for play.

Choose an activity, gather a few materials and try it together. The guide stays close when you need it.

Illustration of a young child and parent matching large paper shapes to homes.

Choose for the child in front of you.

Browse by age and interest. Read the materials list and suggested time before you begin. Pick the easiest comfortable version first, even if your child is older than the suggested range.

Prepare once. Adapt as you go.

Use the household-material option when you want to begin with what you have. Where a printable is available, download the file from your account and follow the printing guide.

Keep scissors and small parts under adult control. The activity page explains any specific preparation and supervision needs.

The parent's part

Set up, demonstrate one turn, wait and notice. Ask a useful question before offering an answer.

The child’s part: explore, choose, test, explain or show. Trying a different approach is part of the game.

Change the challenge, not the child.

Activities offer four variations. They are choices for adjusting support, rules or complexity, not a ladder every child must climb. Repeat an enjoyable version and stop while the experience is still positive.

Your guides, in one place.

The planned account area will bring together the activities and downloads available to you. Sample access and paid access will be shown clearly on each activity. The activity collection is currently in preparation.

Digital first. Prepared kits later.

The initial collection is designed for home preparation and self-printing. Physical kits are in development and are not currently available to order.

When a product is available, its page will state exactly what is included, how long access lasts and whether any payment renews.
